- Detailed fetal echocardiography and cardiac physiological surveys
Which tests need planning?
- In-utero therapeutic procedures (laser therapy, fetal transfusions)
- Pre-conception genetic screening and planning for known hereditary risks
- Multidisciplinary pre-surgical consults with pediatric specialists
When should the referring OB call urgently?
- Sudden maternal blood pressure spikes or severe headaches/vision changes
- Significant decrease in fetal movements or contractions before term
- Unexplained fluid leak or vaginal bleeding
What documents should the patient bring?
- Emirates ID and insurance card
- All previous scan reports, prints, or digital discs from Sharjah clinics
- Recent blood work and genetic screening results
