We do not currently operate a fetal medicine clinic in Ras Al Khaimah. Patients from Ras Al Khaimah can book appointments at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi or Mediclinic Al Jowhara Hospital in Al Ain. We coordinate travel and scheduling.

Which cases are worth travelling for?
- Expert anomaly scans and fetal echocardiography for structural or cardiac concerns
- Fetal growth disorders requiring advanced Doppler studies and specialist surveillance
- Invasive diagnostic tests (CVS, Amniocentesis) for karyotype/microarray testing
Which visits can be done in one day?
- Definitive fetal structural anatomy scans (18-22 weeks) with direct consultant review
- Combined first-trimester screening and pre-eclampsia risk algorithms
Which tests need planning?
- In-utero therapeutic surgery (laser ablation, shunts, intrauterine transfusions)
- Pre-conception genetic profiling and recurrence risk assessment
When should the referring OB call urgently?
- Severe pre-eclampsia signs (high blood pressure, severe headaches, epigastric pain)
- Preterm labor contractions or rupture of membranes (leaking fluid)
What documents should the patient bring?
- Emirates ID and health insurance card
- All previous scan prints, CD/digital records, and medical files
How to book?
RAK patients can request booking online via Fetus.ae, specifying location as RAK for coordinator scheduling.
How to send reports?
Email digital copies of records and referrals to referral@motherfetus.com prior to booking.
