Abnormal ultrasound finding

If an ultrasound detects a potential anatomical, structural, or fluid abnormality, immediate subspecialist review is recommended.

A positive or high-probability screening result (for Trisomy 21, 18, 13) requires experienced diagnostic confirmation.

Twin pregnancy

Monochorionic and multiple pregnancies carry increased risks requiring expert ultrasound surveillance.

Management and delivery planning for placenta previa, accreta spectrum, or vasa previa to minimize bleeding risks.
